The stories of Bruno

Invisible Cities

default.jpeg

A long and exciting journey through the fantastic cities of the Artist, his palaces, his contradictions, the stories of the people who live there.

Urban environment, politics, life and symbols, a vivid and colorful overview that stands out strongly, thanks to an emotional and personal use of color and marked sign. In his interpretations of society and the urban setting, fear often comes as a corollary to considerations about the future, But in his visions so tumultuous of movement and color, he recognizes the concept of positive, love and hope, often linked to faith, never dulled and present in every moment of his life. With his vibrant colors and the continuous symbolism references, the master recognizes and highlights the contrast between good and evil, an argument always present in his work.

Copies and reinterpretations

These are artistic pages dedicated to that part of the cultural journey in which the artist tries with some masterpieces by masters of art history.

Artists who have influenced and shaped him in the growth aesthetic, and formal, obviously also in this case not limited to mere copy, but imposed his executive personality, revisiting "the famous" with its original way of looking at what surrounds it.

The free interpretations are for the master as moments of experimentation, paintings that have marked his pictorial/analytical formation and that constitute the backbone of his expressive abilities. Symbolism is a necessary part of the story, used to define and point out his thought.

The scene is always very described, the amount of objects, characters is perfectly in balance but abundant of light, color and forms, there are all the elements to reconstruct the thought that guided the artist and there are no doubts about his interpretation.

Mythology

The classical world is something that cannot be ignored and from which one can not ignore, obviously the artist does not do it, indeed doubles, uses mythology to describe complex situations of the present.

He manages to do so, fusing the myth (History) and the modern environment (society and the current urban landscape) all in a riot of color, fixing the work as a snapshot of an action that will continue over time.

Windows

The windows are first of all part of the urban landscape, a theme dear to the master, but they are also openings that allow great discoveries, whether you look from the inside out into the world, or the opposite from the outside in the a discovery of intimacy in personal worlds and imagined stories inserted into the most varied situations.

These works of Bruno, are devoid of the human component that is only perceived, but always present in his themes. As many facets as the cities he recounted, these opre have in common the structural geometry and even if the shapes of the details are different, one can perceive the continuity of the subject right in the sign.

The geometry of the forms, moreover, makes the works reassuring even when the subject is a prelude to unpleasant situations such as prison. They are tales of a varied city.
